Default Do you have an '94+ FLHR Road King w windshield? I need some help.

Here is my situation ... I have a HD FXDF Fat Bob. For that, I have a HD Quick Detach Windshield that clamps on to the forks. The headlight cut out is for the twin headlights.

I am putting on a single bucket light and need a windshield plastic that has a single cut out for the headlight. I will use this on the QD brackets I already have. I'll have to replace the horizontal strap, but that's not a big deal.

I'd also like to get a wider windshield than the HD stock 19". The FLHR plastic I can get in 24" or 26" from Cee Baileys.

I think the '94+ Road King plastic may work but I need some measurements to make sure. Already tried contacting Memphis Shades and Cee Bailey and got no help from either one of them.

Could one of you guys help me out with these measurements?

Thanks in advance - vou

there are different cut outs for the softail type 7" headlight, or the roadking type, which has the large nacelle.

I got a softail type...here

Thanks a ton, Mike. Much appreciated.

Best I can tell, it's about ...
... 1/2" - 3/4" from the middle bolt on the vertical strap to the top of the headlight cut out
... 4 1/2" from the top of of the headlight cut out to the lower vertical strap bolt
... just over 6" from the top of the headlight cut out to the bottom of the plastic; and
... about 8 1/4 - 8 1/2" wide.
Does this sound about right?

I'll have to take some measurements tonight on my bike. The QD clamps on the bracket I have are even with the middle bolt and about 1" above the lower bolt on the vertical strap. I think the cut out is "too shallow" on the softail plastic ... and when lowering the shield to mount on the bike, the plastic will hit the headlight before the clamps are low enough to clamp between the triple trees ... I hope that make sense. I know what I am trying to say, just don't know if I am explaining it well.
