AM/FM Radio Also ???
Thinking of putting the XM radio module (P/N 76404-06) onto my 2009 Ultra. Any feedback from those of you that have it would be appreciated. Don't want to spend $600 if I don't have to (Module, bracket and wiring harness.). I have XM in my cager and do like it better than AM/FM stuff.
Thanks in advance....and Ride Safe!

Does this still play regular AM & FM radio also or just XM/Sirius?
I have a plug-in flashstick player for the cigarette lighter and I think it tunes into only an FM band to be able to connect to the radio and play over the speakers. I think the FM band that picks it up is 87.5 or 89.5. I'd like to be able to listen to my own personal music once in a while.
I don't really mind having only XM/Sirius because regular radio channels are crap anyway but once in a while when I'm traveling I also tune into local channels for current weather or news.

Sitting in Frankfurt and flight delayed I think due to snow in Calgary. So surfin' the web and I think I found the answer to my question...and maybe a solution for a few of you guys.
Sirius XM Snap...
Only $20-$30 from Sirius. Comes with a mini-antenna and you plug it into a cigarette lighter outlet. Tune your bike radio to the same frequency as the the Snap and you're good to go. It's very compact and if you wanted to get fancy you could mount it anywhere you want on your fairing and leave it there. Put a small zip lock baggie over it whenever it rained or just see how long it lasts in the weather. For $20 just get a new one whenever it craps out.

I love the HD XM module on my 2012 Ultra LTD. I do have two problems. 1) Reception. Any time I am near trees or bluffs of any kind the XM drops out. I have it on multiple cages and they get MUCH better reception. 2) The Xm is about 20% lower volume than the regular FM channels or CB. I have to max out my volume at higher speeds and it's hard to hear. I have J&M Rokker speakers all the way around. 7" up front 5 1/4 in" the rear. When I switch to FM or a CD or my iphone in the 3.5mm port, it scares me how much louder and clearer it is. Does anyone else have this complaint or am I the exception?
