2009 Ultra Classic with 21,000 miles since March 2009. No problems whatsoever here. Hope to keep that way.

I'm having intermittent issues with the cruise control on my '08 Road Glide and during my research I found this....

Default tbw

I have an 09 ultra that hads been in four times for going in to limp mode. They replaced sockets twice, terminals twice installed a new throttle body, and last thing they did was put on an ecm. I only have 5600 miles on my bike.

Interesting as my TBW has only 11K (08) but is operating great and I did my own internal wiring during a bar change and was less then let's say......gentle.

Premature throttle failure is usually caused by something she said.

Thumbs up TBW Failure

2008 RG throttle issues @ 8K miles. After 4 attempts by dealer they finally got it. Replaced the pins at the throttle and throttle body with larger ones. Dealer said the smaller pins vibrate loose. 25K no issues

i had the problem after replacing all the guages on my 08. With the codes listed, you need to have a digital tech diagnos and pinpoint the problem. I took mine to the dealer, and he found the problem in minutes, fix took longer, as we had a wire broken under the tank.

Many things could cause you to have the problem. You can beat your head against the wall, or you can take it in and get it fixed.
