Saw a guy at the local HD shop yesterday with one on an 09 SG. Looked pretty badass in person, but he said the ladies bitched about the way it felt. Other than that, it looked damn good on the bike.

GBFLHX Can you tell me anytihing about the fit/finish, qualtiy of the bar and if the padding is removable. Comfort is not a huge issue but nice to hear it's not horrible. My wife rides her own bike and only rides on the back a few times a year. Even then she prefers to ride without the backrest because it's mostly short stuff. Thanks in advance for the info.

The overall quality and the chrome fit/finish are excellent, except for the rack that comes down from the back of the sissy bar. It is kind of flimsy. I just don't use it much unless I am in a real pinch for space.

The padding doesn't come out, but the thin black line looks good against the chrome frame. The whole thing is detachable and uses the standard Harley attachment. I think you will need to buy a model specific plate to attach the sissy bar to the attachment point. It will be nice if someone has a picture of the bar on a RK for you.

Take care and ride safe.
