This is my first actual touring bike. We have rode a 2000 Heritage for the last 15 years and decided we needed a little more comfort for the next 15 so we got the 14 Limited. I hope I get the same service out of this bike. Here is a pic of both bikes. Plan on keeping the Heritage and making it a solo just for around town riding.

Default I Went Touring

Ive raced jap bikes on WIllow Spriings, Ca Speedway, etc etc, and ridden custom bikes, but my 2003 Electra Glide Ultra Classic is my first adult bike. I felt when I first got on it, and still to this day like I'm new to riding. I'm finally starting to have fun again. I know I could have gone newer, and probably should have but 100th Anniversary seemed special to me, plus I never keep anything stock anyway, so I figured I'd save on the initial cost, and blow my money on the upgrades. If it was a new bike I would still have done it, so why not get something that is special"to me" 100th anniversary, and upgrade the hell out of it. So thats beginning soon. My racing side, and the fact Ive bottom out the suspension a couple of times already makes me want to do the suspension but I have stock pipes etc, and I'm thinking power.
Also thinking of taking an advance rider course, because I feel like like I need some track time on this Bus, to get comfortable and then really enjoy it.
I'm not sure if touring is where I wanted to go, but when I have the music bumping, and sitting in my lazy boy at 100MPH, I'm like I can get used to this.. hahah.

Just bought an 06 electraglide ultra classic after being a dyna guy for years. Its like going from a small sports car to a Cadillac, so much more comfortable for my wife and I, not as much fun in the twisties though.

This is my first Harley Touring bike. Love it, the Rushmore has beat all expectations.

Bought my first,a used 13 RGU with 9 miles on it right after Christmas last year. If the weather ever breaks, I may get to actually ride it somewhere other than the DMV. Bu I have more than doubled the mileage on it to 21.

Bought my ultra limited in June of last year. It isn't my first touring bike as I have owned a goldwing aspencade and a suzuki cavalcade before. But it is my first harley and without a doubt my favorite bike.

Got my SGS in December, upgraded from Super Glide. Loved my Dyna, but it was just a little small for 2-up road trips. The comfort level is WAY better for me and the wife, and we can't wait to do some multi-day trips when the weather cooperates.

I bought a 2003 Electra Glide Classic last May after having been without a bike for 9 years, the last one having been a 1990 FatBoy. I love it!

Tons of dirt bikes, a '74 sporty living room rebuild 30 years ago and several sporty's later I laid low for 10 years because of kids. Last year my wife got a sporty and I rode a few times and then bought a 07 superglide. Loved the bike but at 6'4" it was just to small. traded it and cash for an 06 street glide. Just love it.
