I think they would look great with the same 2 tone pattern on the side of the bag (not the top) as my bike.

I've seen pics with a creme stripe on the bottom 4 inches or so of the bag. Looked pretty darn good but my painter wanted hundreds more for two colors.

That's answered (or partially answered) my most pressing question regarding hard bags for a Classic.
Love the look Cbears, did you retain the original rail that runs under the bags?
I took delivery of a 2010 RK Classic a couple of days ago and can't wait to lose the soft bags.
