I was thinking it would look good with following the patern off of the back fender. What do you guys think?

I've seen pics with a creme stripe on the bottom 4 inches or so of the bag. Looked pretty darn good but my painter wanted hundreds more for two colors.

Sounds like you've got a much better setup than I do. You should go for the multi color then.

That's answered (or partially answered) my most pressing question regarding hard bags for a Classic.

Love the look Cbears, did you retain the original rail that runs under the bags?

I took delivery of a 2010 RK Classic a couple of days ago and can't wait to lose the soft bags.
