Default Checking & filling tires

Is there an easier way to check & fill the rear tire on my Roadking? It has the spoked wheels.

Hey, if ya can't lay on the ground, reach around the tire to the other side and work the gauge around through the spokes to get a reading, then you're probably not in good enough shape to be riding! I just saying

Put your frigg'n *** on the slab, tweak the valve a little and insert air. Basic Rocket Surgery.

What we really need is for someone to finally invent the Electric Fork so people don't have to go through all the aggravation of eating manually.

Harley has a cool gauge for about $12 that has a 90 degree bend on it. Makes checking the pressure much easier.

I sympathize with the OP. It is a PITA but it's necessary. I use my floor jack, then I can spin the wheels around and even clean the white walls. Of course I take off the hard bags too. I can lay my fat **** on the ground, it's the gettin' up that's hard.

I agree - a must-do PIA. I've been thinking about relocating the valve for the rear shocks though.

Get the little electronic doohickey that tells you the pressure on the other little doohickey that you put on your keyring...
