Default Wild ones RK 508's, Love them or hate them?

Theres a lot of posts about the Wild one's chubby 508's and 518's from people who love them over the stock RKC handlebars. I have an 09 RKC and can't WAIT to get off of the stock handlebars. I am debating between the Heritage style bars for RK or the WO508's. I've sat on a Heritage bar equipped Rk at the dealership, and sat on some cop bikes and they feel ok, seem to handle much better, but I hate the way it looks. No offense to those of you who like them, but to me they just don't look like they belong. However, the convenience and low price of not having to change anything out is appealing. My favorite looking handlebar is the WO508, but I cant seem to find anyone who has them so I can look at and try them out in person. (seen lots of pics though)

I was wanting to know of any of you who has had the WO508's, is there anyone who absolutely hated them? If so, why? and also, how tall are you? Were there any problems with slow speed turns, etc? I'm 5'08", with 29" arm length and the WO508's seem like a good option right now.

I have the 508s on my RG. They did take some getting used to as the position is very wheel-barrowish....that was back in 2007. I like the bars a lot and they look great. As far as slow turns and such, you will get used to them.

I am considering putting the 508s on my 02 SERK I bought in April...either those or apes.

I'm 6'-3" with a 32" inseam and wear a 36" sleeve. I have the 518s on an '09 RG and LOVE them! Very comfortable and handles great! I didn't have to change any cables or lines and didn't need to extend any wires. I did have to get the extended TBW. The length of the stock one was fine but there wasn't enough room to internally wire the bars and leave the TBW connector in there too.

I had the 508's on my Roadking and although I loved the look of them and how they came back to me, I just couldn't get used to the hand position. On long rides my wrists would be real sore. I got rid of them and put on their 10" mini apes. One of the best mods I have done to my bike.

My buddy had the 518's and he loved them. The hand positioning on these is much better.

I have the 508's on my bike for 12000 miles so far and I love them. Right after I installed them I did a 2500 mile trip in 6 days with no wrist or shoulder complaints.

I'm 6'1'' (long legs, short arms) and my 508 is superb for me. No problem with wrist angle, but you must change your hand position to be comfortable (your hand "axis" must not be perpendicular to grip). The Kury trigger levers are a BIG help with these bars.

I had the 508's on my RK. Very comfortable for me. I have 2 bad shoulders and these bars allowed me to ride all day. I'd put them on my Ultra if they would fit.
