?Is there anyone on this forum from BA. I cannot seem to find a bathroom down here and I donīt get home until tomorrow. I knew I should have paid attention in High School, who would have thought that Spanish would come in handy.

Heading for the dealership this afternoon, should be interesting. Probably just buy t'shirts, but I hope I can see some bike prices too. My guess is that HD stand for 400 Pesos down here, with the exchange rate and all.

I hope you could find the bathroom by now.. I`m from Buenos Aires, and you got the exchange rate figured worng, is 1 dolar almost 4 pesos.
Either way, the dealer sells everything in american dollars, the exchange rate changes everyday here, so they don`t want to lose a dime.

Been there 4 times. Although I doubt I'd ever ride a bike there, little own a HD. That would pretty much guaranty getting robbed. Great country though.

 

Find the Irish pubs they are good, great on a wednesday or friday night. The HD shop is in teh most expensive area of BA, not too big but you can get a T shirt. Good city, would not worry about being robbed so much, there are way worse place to go in South America. Good food there.
