Default Picked up a 2000 Road King, couple tuning questions

Bike is fuel injected, screaming eagle stage II (95ci, se203's, true duals with thunder header muffs, etc....)

Bike gets hot as hell! After coming to a stop at idle for about 20-30 seconds at a light the pipes put off some heat, the heat shields are untouchable. Rush hour traffic in mild weather is almost unbearable. Popping and flapping on decel in gear off throttle. Obviously lean at idle and off throttle. Other than that the bike runs fantastic.

Bike has a pcIII USB on it.

I've found the exact tune on the power commander website and assume that's what's on my pc, but will reload to be sure.

When the dealership installed the stage II ten years ago would they have reflashed the computer for the stage II? Not sure if I should install the map for my mods with the stage II program or stock factory program.

Opinions appreciated

The 3 dials on the pc, should I try raising idle fuel a little instead of reloading or?

Get it Dynoed by someone who knows what they are doing and the excess heat will be a thing of the past. Base maops are jsut that...base maps.

Can anybody answer my questions. I'm not looking to get it dyno tuned at this time. Combo is very basic and think a pc III can handle what I need the bike to do.

Main concern is if the ECM was reflashed. Is there a way to know? I have the original sales receipt and it shows all the parts and labor cost, but no mention of reflash.

Kit notes on Internet say ECM flash necessary.

I took V.I.N. number into dealer and asked if the ECM had been flashed. They looked it up on their computer and told me no. You may try that.
