Blew the fuse on tailight on 2005 EGC. Not sure how this happened. Does anyone know what else is on the same circuit? Only thought is I recently installed the Kuryakyn license place relocation kit which includes a new fender tip light and l.e.d.'s for the license plate, but is the fender tip on the same circuit as the tail light? I do not have extra fuses yet to start playing trial and error and I don't know how to read the schematic in the shop manual. Any ideas?

 

I recently repaired a friends ride after he tried to install new bars and instead of running the wires through the bars he pinched them inbetween the housings and the bars. He kept blowing fuses due to the wires arcing off. (He had two partially broken wires) I would recheck the wiring you installed and ensure nothing is pinched off or not properly covered for inclement weather. Or you may very well have too much voltage running through a circuit. Depending on what other accessories are on your ride already you may need a load adapter to handle the voltage. Good luck
