Default Freedom-Wings/Kuryakyn Dragon Wings

I know that some of you have and like your Freedom-Wings. Some like the Kuryakyn Dragon Wings. Are they much different from one another? I personally don't like the wing design on the KDW's (wish they were just plain black or smoked). Anyway, are they always the same price or do some retailers sell them for for less than retail? Those who have them, where did you get them and why did you decide on your brand?

DiscountCycleParts.Com has smoked Kuryakyn Dragon Wings for $69.01 plus $9.99 shipping. I just ordered a set.

has anyone tired to mount the Kuryakyn wings on an 07? I purchased these for my 07 Street Glide and can't find the place to mount them. One hole is pretty obvious, but the other is not.

I ran a search and didn't come up with the Kuryakan Dragon Wings. Would someone post a link?

Thanks.

Search for saddle shields. You'll see them then. Part number 1107 and 1108

Sortasuave-There are a couple of plastic plugs on each side you have to pop out to install the fixed or opening deflectors.

Thanks, I got em...

I gotta say though, I am less them impressed with how they fit on the bike. Two HUGE problems:

1) For the top screw, I don't have easy access to where the plug goes in. Perhaps it is new, but they now run a plastic "channel" that has a wiring harness in it. As such, you can't easily put the plug in.

2) I had to glue in the extension pieces for the fuse box covers. They no longer fit tight on the bike and as a result I have a huge gape on the bike.

I'm truely disappointed with the fit of the product. Not sure if this is a specific problem to the 07 models or just in general.

Again, thanks for the help!
