Many variations here. The OP (2010) was "the best 1/2 helmet" There are many good 1/2 helmets. In the class of bobble head 1/2 helmets I can not comment. As far as a smallest 1/2 helmet that is quality there is only 1 best: Skull Crush. The others are not even close.

I'll second that , always been a beater helmet guy I mean I've used them as a kick stand pad on wet dirt before is how little I cared about a helmet. Bought the new bike and the dealer tossed in a helmet of my choice when I showed with my old one to pick up the bike. Great unit, sorry I took so long to come in out of the cold.
