Sheepskin or Beads?

Sheepskin or Beads?
I have a mustang seat on my bike and for the most part it's okay. But after 3 or 4 hours the monkey butts starts. I already wear spandex under my jeans and it does help. My question is which is better the sheepskin pads or the ceramic beads. Or maybe there is other options. thanks for the advice.

I had a sheepskin, worked o.k. Never tried the beads, heard they are pretty nice (especially if ya have a big ***...LOL ) I have a Airhawk now and wished the hell I would have bought it years ago..... great !. I'm going futher and should be getting a air ride police seat in the mail any day now. between that and the air hawk I figure I can ride till the cows come home before I have monkey butt.

My wife and I have small asses and the beads work great. It has been really hot here and we don't have sweaty seats anymore.....nice and dry. We have the wooden bead version from beadrider. Never tried sheepskin. They probably help. It sounded like a pain to deal with though. I wash the bike and don't have to remove the beads. No need to worry about a cover when it rains either.

gel only works for a short time. They, too....will feel just as hard on yer butt as it gets used to it. Beads are the bomb. Why do NYC cabbies have them in their seats ?
Sheepskins work too, but I only use it in the summer months
------
Beads are the cheapest thing to try, and if you find the beaded car seat cover (which is about what you will find...) at a discount mart. Just cut'em to fit your seats, tie them off and attach them with small bungie cords.
oh...don't forget to paint them with gloss black spray paint. Flat black just doesn't do the trick.
