I would like the option of putting the hole long block together at a discounted price that way I could get the crank trued and welded.

A Harley dealer near me was giving a guy with a trike and 103 motor w/3,500 miles on it a 2,000.00 trade towards the 120R. You just can't build it for that price. I'm now thinking about selling my 96" and a set of ported and polished SE 110 heads that I have to bring this 5,500.00 beast to my garage

You can find more info here at page 20/21 http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...bmLocale=en_US

Oh and I was told there is no warranty. IT's a race only item
It's the complete crate motor for 4300 after discount. We are not talking about the kit. I posted my total cost in this thread. Already paid for it today.

Thanks I was thinking it had something to do with the extra motor mount, but couldn't remember what year they started that

Ok I guess I would like to know who can get what deal and at what dealer. What dealers will give 10/15% or more off for ordering this crate motor from their shop.

I feel bad for people that have dealers that suck. I really do. Not only did they give me 20% off all the parts, they gave me $600 in gift cards towards merchandise.

They knew I was going to most likely go somewhere else and get my engine built. I spend on a whim and have many whims. They didn't want to lose me to another dealer and told me so.

BadBagger,
Anyone can get it from chicagoharley.com for 20% off. I guess that's good if you can put it in yourself.

Ahhh Ty Dick. That 20% is worth the hassle of sticking it to my local dealer. They should have at least offered up a dyno tune after I get it in there.

I really wish someone would quantify the question of the VIN stamping on the cases. I have been to Laughlin and other West Coast events where the super-fuzz have been all over my bikes looking for VIN tampering with a black light. I'm getting too old for that ****.
