Default Grinding sound when I try to start happening more and more

I get this grinding sound when I try to start the 08 Ultra. It never used to do it , it started to do it very seldom and now it does it once out of 12 times I try to start. The bike does start but I am concerned that something is deteriorating. The dealer said it is normal in Harleys. Then I thought how come it did not do it for the first two years? What is your opinion? Thanks

you're up for an upgrade to a screaming eagle clutch compensator (just pay the $100 difference)!

It didn't do it because it was under warranty then.

Some people in this forum recommend not buying a warrantee. I paid $1200 for extended three years and 2 months into the new warrantee I had to fix the charging system and it would have cost $600 so already 1/2 of it I have gotten back

My 08' did the exact same thing until the compensator finally went out. Was replaced under full warranty with a SE version by my dealer. Did not cost me a penny. Has run like a champ every since.
