Default LOOKING FOR GOOD LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET

i want a good lightweight leather jacket kinda sporty that an be wadded up in the bags and good for cool not cold weather ridin?

main reason i want leather is for the rain protection over the textile type....i have a Power Trip number 4 Chris Carr jacket that i love but it is seperating in the sleeves from the riding. its a hybrid leather and textile. but also i remove any armor so i don't need an armor plated one

thanks fellas

From my own personal experience, leather is not water proof and therefore useless as "rain protection". I wear the PowerTrip "Dakota" textile jacket and find it to be a superior all around riding jacket. It has a zip out quilted liner, zippered vents on the sleeves and back and is waterproof. That along with a pair of First Gear overpants, also with removable quilted liner satisfy all riding conditions from rain to lightweight warm weather riding to 35* winter riding. Even got a chance to actually test out the jacket in a crash the other night and it did a great job of protecting me, especially with the padded elbows and shoulders. For me there is no other choice and the costs of both pieces is far less than any HD product.

The preceding was a personal opinion, paid for by soos.
