Default SE compensator kit stator rotor

I installed a SE compensator on my ultra. Managed to allow one of the springs slip behind the shaft extension. BIG mistake, rotor shifted, ate the stator and magnets managed to get the old one back together and replaced the stator but I'm at a a loss to find a replacement rotor. The dealers vie spoken with can't sell them independently. Any suggestions as to where I might find a replacement rotor (stator housing)
Thanks,
Whiskey

You didn't read the instructions until AFTER you put her back together - right?
Bummer!
Sorry can't help - just bein a smarta$$!
Seems a competitant machine shop can mill the spring bowl off your stocker pretty easy though.

Default Duh

Wish it was as easy to admit to as that, just sloppy haste. I'll look into getting it milled off. That's a great suggestion, thanks

Do you still have the instruction sheet? They typically have the "servicable parts" listed there. I don't remember on mine, but they might have a PN for the rotor? Unless its "part not sold separately". Then you may be SOL there unless you can get the stock one to work.

I came so close to making that same mistake when I installed mine last year. So close.

Default expensive

It's a mistake that will just about double the cost of the upgrade. I found the part number SE 30041-08 for the rotor ($110 from HD) and another buck and a half for a new stator. And throw in another ten bucks for the shattered thrust washer. My $250 upgrade is creeping up into a $600 PIA. Not quite what I would have paid to have the repair done at the shop but damn close enough. This damn well better take care of that front end primary case noise.

I don't know if the instructions have changed over the last few years, but mine states clearly to watch the springs getting trapped behind other parts, hence the wisecrack. I was so worried when I finally fired her up, because you really cant tell until it's too late. Although I checked and re-checked 3-4 times before I torqued the bolt down!
