"I'm OK"... that's great & all..... how's the engine?

Glad to hear another survival story. Seems like it's the season lately.

I THINK it's ok... It's 350 miles away from me.

My insurance wants 4700 for salvage value, which is more than it cost to get the motor built...

Me? I'm ok...

Less than 2000 miles on that FM 107 build.

I'm looking for a 14/15 Ultra now....

Major Bummer... But, I'm OK!!!
Awe, cut the ****.. man that just totally sucks. Glad you're okay. I'm surprised they want that for salvage value. The engine is probably still fine.

Yeah, I think it's high too, for salvage value... and that's before I told them about the motor work...

I would offer to buy the engine... They'll jump on it if they are totaling the bike.

Say 500 and cut me a check for the rest...

I can take off farkles as long as I leave 3000 of accessories but only way to get the motor is to buy the bike for salvage value...

The good news is it's hardware and replaceable. I hope you have Jaime build you another one. You may make out okay with the insurance if you had collision.

My BIL went down on my 98 Valkyrie with 102K miles on it this spring. It had a NADA trade in value of $3K, but it was in excellent condition. I had collision with "replacement value" insurance. They paid out $8.2K and I bought a replacement for $6.7K.
