Default 07 Road King squeaking

Having a problem with a squeak, this only starts after the bike gets warm. If i am sitting at a light the squeak starts, if i keep the rpms over 1000 it quits if i stand up off the bike it stops.Does anyone know what this might be.Seems to start this more when i have been sitting in traffic or have been on a long ride.

Possibly your muffler mount bushings under the saddlebags. Spray some silicone lube on them. If it stops - there ya go.
Could also be a loose clamp in your exhaust system. Tighten it/them.
Actually it could be a million things - but those are two off the top of my head.
Good luck - chasing a squeak can be a PIA!

mine started the getting-cold-weather-squeak today. it was also the left rear exhausr bushing. wd40 did the trick.

great looking bike by the way. i love the old throwback color and the seats that are on it as well. think it would look even beter with some more black like you did on the wheels. nice!

Instead of spraying, go buy 2 new ones. A couple dollars each. This way you won't have to mess with them another 3-4 years.
