I always like semichrome(spelling?) Although you do need to be careful around the black engine cases, but does come off fairly easily.

Talking to SifuLarson, S100 polishing soap is amazing, I'm grabbing some soon. The S100 engine cleaner is great stuff and makes the engine look brand new.

I use neverdull (sp?) from walmart. Just take your time and you wont have to worry about getting it off if you dont get any on it.

+1 on the NEVRDULL though the sharp edges can be a pain.
If you use chrome polish then a stiff brush (like a toothbrush) and some WD-40 or mineral spirits will remove the residue.

Turtle wax chrome polish works really good. Really cheap at Walmart or Autozone.

S100 polishing soap is awesome. Just found out about using it. I used it on my Harley and on my wife's Shadow. The Shadow look shoody at best until the s100 soap. Now the chrome looks great.
