I hate the decal that HD put on my Ultra, any way of removing it without needing to take the tank off for the painter? I have a set of HD badges I plan on using.

 

Nope they clearcoat over decal, have to have it re-painted.

 

park it in the sun for awhile or use a hairdryer to warm the glue (don't burn the paint) then use fishing line with a lot of knots tied in it to saw the emblem off. then use glue gone of something like that to remove the glue residue.

if its a decal, then its under the clear coat.

do the badges cover it?
