Default Fuel Moto Cam Install Video

As soon as the weather turns bad but before the garage gets really cold, I plan on getting the Fuel Moto TW-222 cam kit and starting the install. From reading other posts it looks like the package comes with a video. Anyone have one they can send my way so that I can be well prepared before the bolt cutters come out?

The video clips off of the FuelMoto website work pretty damn good...

Used them and Google when I installed my cams two weeks ago, no problems.

Checked out the S&S and saved it for future use. Must be blind because I can't find the video on the Fuel Moto site. The Fuel Moto video would be good because, as I understand it, their kit reuses the stock pushrod tubes whereas the S&S shows the replacement tubes with their kit for easier adjustment.

As someone who did a cam install, I would throw the stock pushrod tubes as far away as you can throw them. They are way too long to easily do a pushrod adjustment, even with the fuel moto gizmo. You can get the SE pushrod kits which come with shorter covers, either the tapered or straight rods. I used the straight adjustable pushrods and have had no problems, including no noise or contact with the tubes that the "experts" here say will happen with anything but tapered or fuel moto, etc. And they cost less than the tapered and were super easy to adjust since the pushrod tube uses 4 flats making counting revolutions very simple.

Don't forget the cam gear shim kit, a straightedge of some sort and .010 feeler gauge. Its necessary for setting up the timing chain gears to run parallel and straight.

As mentioned in the previous post, if you can, I would avoid using the stock push rod tubes. Harley makes SE tubes that are sold separately that have shorter lower portions (and of course therefore longer clips on the top), but they are black.

S&S makes a set of tubes like this but in chrome, I believe.

I also highly recommend this tool for re-installing the push rod tube clips:
