Default Color Suggestions

I have a 96 FLHPI that is factory white with black side panels and the nacelle is also black.

I'm considering painting my bike and am looking for suggestions.

My previous bikes were all black and I always like black but I'm considering a vintage color scheme.

I've recently ordered wide whitewall tires. I will either install them on the current alloy wheels which will be polished or possibly install spoke wheels if I can find them which is more vintage looking.

No offense but I'm not looking for flames, pinstripes or graphics, just a simple 1 or 2 color scheme.

I've considered some sort of white & sea green? (50's color)

THe more pictures the better.

Thanks in advance!

Here are a few pics of my old 94 RK with a B/W paint job.

I like those colors. The chrome nacelle & spoke wheels go a long way.

Had seen a bike at a show that had a vintage paint job that was black & tan and and looked real nice was getting tons of attention. Thought I had a pic but, guess I don't sorry. Good Luck!

Black and White is a classic combination that almost always looks sharp.

Thanks. It's based on a 1950's Duo-Glide paint scheme, but I reversed the colors, IE, it was black on the fenders w/ a white stripe.

That's funny. I just typed "vintage harley" in google and the same scheme showed up a couple of times but it was on duo-glides.

Vintage white pearl (kind of a cream color) and either Tan, or Dark brown.

looks real classy with white-walls and you can be different and do a brown leather saddle instead of black . . .
