Thanks for all the great information! This is my first "new bike" and I want her to look like a virgin but ride like a *****. Agree it probably ain't gonnna happen, but after looking at Sparky Mo's bike, maybe I can have it all. Safe ride to all.

Maquire's makes a bike detailer that is excellent for between washes! Spray on and wipe off...works great!

Pledge works good for quick clean up, but I feel you still have to keep it waxed. Any good quality wax will work for you. Just have to work at keeping it nice.

I have a show car and have tried lots of waxes and polishes over the years. Zaino, Zymol and Meguiar's are good products. If you have black paint try Turtle Wax ICE. Pledge is okay for quick detailing, but for a deep lasting shine use a wax.

Check out a product called "Glare" a little pricey but good stuff for the shiny paint.

Captain Richard is the best. I have used it for a longtime and love it. It takes the bugs off with ease and oh what a shine
