Default I need a good BAY AREA shop that does good motor mods

Hey Forum,

First I want to say thanks for all your help. This forum is great. You all have been so helpful. My question is.... I live in Tracy Ca, and really need a good INDY for some future mods. I want to do some head work and honestly the INDY's around here suck! Well let me take that back a certain INDY that I'm using I have lost faith in...There that's better...Anyways all input is welcome...Thanks

check out Binford customs in Mateca, Ca. I plan on using him for my service and all upgrades. He was featured in this quarters H.O.G. magazine.

1flhtk4me-(RE in modesto) When you say not cheap....How bad is it? I want to do some head work and perhaps some other goodies but mainly head work. I have got alot of people say that bigboys is the place to go for good cheap(wallet frendly) head work. The only problem I have with that is my wrenching ability. Its not very seasoned and thats being nice to myself. So taking off the heads and sending them to bigboyzs has got me stuck. Don't want to be one of the DIY guys that just make a mess out of things

You should consider RC Cycles in Fremont, they have a reputation and the best Tuner on the West Coast with Bob Lobenberg there. give Ron a call.

He has a complete machine shop with flow bench and dyno.Does good head work.
Did the heads on my old Road Glide for $800.Larger valves, new springs, seats, guides and flowed for the 95" he built for me.Of course there was other labor for the engine assy.and parts.
Best to talk to him.
