The stock nbO2 sensors can measure from approx 14.2-15.0:1 and are most accurate at stoich. However, the tuning strategy when using the nbO2 sensors sets the AFR/Lambda table to where the sensors can accurately measure and allows you to synchronize the VE's to that specific value. Once the VE's are properly synce to the AFR/Lambda table you can then set back to your desired AF target and the ECM can properly calculate fuel delivery requirements to the mixture you desire
