progressive 2" fork drop?
Has anyone used the 2" progressive fork springs and dropped the complete 2". If so, you did how did you like it and were there any problems or concerns? Thanks men.

I used the Progressive Drop in 2" lowering kit on my 08 Road Glide after I installed a 21" wheel up front. Did it to get the kickstand angles right again. I installed 1/2 an inch spacer to preload and only get a 1 inch drop. Excellent spring set. Cornering was helped and front end dive cut down to almost nothing compaired to stock.

Like I said I preloaded it with a 1/2 inch spacer to get a final 1 inch drop.
That performs much better then stock

I talked to an indy about it yesterday. He said it will be very low and you would only have about 3-4 inches of travel. It may bottom out on a regular basis. I am going to install it anyway and find out how it is. If I don't like it then I will raise it back up to the 1". I will repost the results one way or another but it may be a while to get some good road testing done.

Since the front end is fairily involved- can I suggest ( if you haven't yet) that you drop the rear 2" and see if the clearance and ride is ok,
The rear is easily reversed or adjusted, the front- not so much.

The streetglides already run a 12" shock in the rear which is an inch lower than other tourers. If you go 2 more you're going to have trouble. I do have 11.5 440's on the rear with no problems(wife and I together are just a tad over 300lbs). Wouldn't recommend any lower than that. I don't mind the work it takes, I do it all myself.

If I were you I'd only go 1 inch. You won't be able to go into a corner without dragging your boards..just saying

2" is a pretty big drop for a stock size front wheel (we see quite a few baggers down 2", but they generally have converted to a 21" front wheel).
1" will level the bike nicely and the progressive rate spring will help deal with brake dive.
