I have a friend over and we about to change the oil and he says there is 2 plugs under the bike and one is for oil the other is for transmission. Which one is the oil plug to drain the oil? Thanks for your help!

I have an 03 should be the same. The one that comes out the front of the pan is the oil. The one that cmes from the bottom is the tranny. May want to wait from others.

If'n you are doin' yer own work GET A SERVICE MANUAL!!! It is worth the money. A parts manual helps also.

There's actually 2 out the front, one is a drain, the other a place to install an oil temp sender. Xmsn on bottom on far right. The engine drain is the far left one. The inside hex (allen wrench) next to the engine drain is the temp sensor hole. Do NOT take out the plug on the bottom of the engine. It will give you 3 tbsp of oil, but the chance of cracking the cases when re-installing, esp without a service manual, is high.
