The dealership wanted to charge me $340 to install chrome switches. My knuckle headed *** did it in an hour and a half. Yay DIY.

I did OK, but saw several cars get stuck and had to help push them out. It was fun. I actually GoPro'd it for awhile too, you can see the handlebars turned pretty far left and right from time to time to keep the bike going straight.
I ride 4wd suvs on the beach very frequently here in Delaware, and at OBX also- in fact so often that I have a Tahoe that's pretty much used only for that purpose. It's critical to deflate your tires to 18-20 psi before going over the dune crossing, and if you still get stuck drop that to 15 psi.

Some great looking bike you guys have!! I can't wait to really start building up my RK and dialing it in just the way I want it. So far it is a mostly stock 07 peace officer special edition. HD stage 1 intake, Rinehart true duals, SERT tune. I pulled the smooth profile spoke rims and added 9 spoke wagon wheels, different grips, and a sundowner seat. Ride the wheels off it. I'll roll 70K this week. Wish I could lay claim to all 70K, but I boguht it a yr and a half ago @56K. My first HD and it is awesome.

I am finding that the ride is just great with the 21 /16 and the front and rear lowered 2 inches. Is it worth going to 18 inch in the back?
hey Burgs, thanks. I think you made a great choice with the two tone. It looks great. as for going 16 or 18 in the rear it really comes down to whether you like to see more wheel or more white wall. I went with the 16 just because I feel the WWW is too narrow on the 18" that being said I don't think you can go wrong either way.
