Default Road Glide GPS or Phone mount

I have the Kuryakyn Fuel door mount. I got an email from Iron Aces showing their new Road Glide mount.

Looks nice and puts the GPS or phone is a good location. I imagine it could even be wired to hide all the wires like mine.

Here a link to their site:

Nice mount...but I had this figured out a year ago.

I used RAM products and Powerlet products.

The instructions show how it mounts. Pretty slick really. The mount can be removed later and there won't be any visible holes in the instrument pod. Take a look.

yea...
that blocks your speedometer and radio nicely..

I would have gone with the fuel door mount if I wanted to use a GPS that was that big.

Brilliant observation.
Sadly, you're not 100% correct.
The radio APPEARS to be blocked...an illusion created by the angle I took the pic from.
As for the speedo, do you watch yours?
I don't.
Honestly, I don't watch the speedo, radio or GPS.
My eyes are typically focused straight ahead.

But let's get down to the nitty gritty....for a moment.
Are you aware, the GPS displays the MP3 songs it reads from the SD card?
Yup, it does.
Are you also aware, the GPS has a built-in speedo...which is more accurate than the factory installed speedo?
Amazing, huh?

Lastly, go ahead and mount your Iphone like in the original post.
Let's see which is still working at the end of a downpour...the Iphone, or the Zumo.

For convenience I mounted my GPS on the right-side bar. The unexpected bonus is that my wife can see it when we are two up, so my back-seat driver can contribute an extra pair of eyes! I wouldn't mount a GPS in the centre in future.
