AHHHHHHH!!!! broken fin !!!
Working in yard today and noticed broken fin, not sure how but did hear a loud hit ,lika a rock wile riding sunday. Anyone have this happen ?

Not a broken one. I have a cooling fin that is dented and sort of bent a bit though...

an I just happen to have a couple taken off my '10 FLHR right at 500 miles on the clock, for anyone looking for a couple.

probably just cosmetic, when/if you decide to do motor work, that's the time to replace it.
Lots of cylinders available used.

which fin? The only time I have heard of fins breaking is during shipping. Is it just a knick or is a piece of the fin actually missing?

if you were planning on building your motor with big bore, that would be the time to replace the cylinder. it shouldn't affect cooling much if any.

That sucks but I would not bother to buy a new cylinder due to a broken fin!
I would if I had the time and money but as of now, I have neither!
I broke a fin while cleaning my bike. Got some super glue on it, glued it back on. It's been there for about 80,000 miles. I have also stopped cleaning the cylinders.
