Default Removed the catalyst from the head pipes

My glacier thawed from my driveway enough that I could take advantage of the warm weather in MO today.Tried out the recently gutted head pipes. Sounds great! Seat of the pants tells me that there's more horse up on top now. I have a PCV,and Screamin Eagle breather with 4'' Rhineharts. I heard no pinging so I hope that a retune will not be necessary. I figure when I can ride more I will also check my mileage to see if it was affected. 2010 Ultra Classic

You might notice a decrease in Fuel economy because the increase in power will make you ride harder and faster.

I heard you can core the cat and not have to replace the head pipes. Has any one done that to increase the sound? I replace the stock with Screamming Eagles and it's only a little loader on acel. I have the 2011 Roadglide Ultra also.

been kicking around the thought of removing the cat , as design it does not seem like it would be a restriction in the exhaust, if it where a restriction Stage 1 on any bike with the cat would be ineffective as you would be unable to increase the are flow with the cat in place.

Port, I all ready have V&H twin slash rounds on the bike. I really like the sound now so with the cat out it should be even better.
