Shock oil wt 10 ?
I am putting used 12" Air Shocks on my UC and removing the 13" OEM ones. I want to put the 10 weight oil in and remove the 5 weight oil from it? I have read some where on the forum that you can use the 10 weight and it is the best? I could not find 10 weight Shock oil so I got 10 weight FORK OIL and hope that is it ?
The highest weight in shock oil was 7 WT ? , Who has done this and what is the best to use and what should I use ?
They have some different weight markings 165-150 is 10 weight fork oil ? I have never seen these measurements? Help me, and Thanks for the answers

I just did my shocks on my RK this past weekend. Pics below on what I used. I'm sure you will be fine with the oil you bought. It was also recommended to me when I was asking question's. I made this jig out of Pressure treated 2X4's I had left over from a Deck job, plus a few 1/2 bolts, nut's, and washer's from the hardware. Not a bad job at all. Mine seem's to ride smoother. I'm sure I would tell a bigger difference if I rode two up. Good Luck!!
The oil you see in the glass container is the old oil that came out of the shock. I wanted to measure it as to know how much to put back in. close to 12 OZ's Old oil didn't look that bad, But my bike only has 10K on it.
