1HD1C:

I know the Fat Baggers drop kit is expensive, but it is nice to be low without giving up ground clearance. I bought mine used with the kit already-installed, so I never had to stomach the price, but I can say that it is sweet -- seems totally "factory" for lack of a better description. I am in the opposite corner of the US, but if you are ever out this way, please take it for a spin and see for yourself.

my nephew had a 2009 flhx which he lowered with i believe the harley kit 1 inch front and back he still never was able to flat foot.he loved the bike the ride and all but the parking turned out to be more than he could take.he rides a lowered road king now.not sure the difference in lowering kits but its lower and better balanced.good luck and as long as u dont stop u will be fine

If I were you I would do it in steps starting with the seat. You might not have to go any farther than a Corbin or a Mean City mod.

Streetglides are already lowered from the other touring bikes and to lower it further your giving up shock travel and / or handling. That's my opinion anyway others I sure have lowered them satisfactorily I am sure.

I am 5'8" and can flat foot and then some, with just a Corbin Classic Solo.
