Please let me know if you find a good way to mount it. The mounting tab is pot metal and is not vibration friendly. I used a frame tube clamp to mount mine and the tab broke after about a week.

I emailed the company and they said to send it back and they would replace it if I paid shipping both ways...but I could buy a new one at Autozone for a few bucks more than the shipping costs and not have to wait on the exchange. And after being out $80 total for horns I'd still be asking the same question as you.

My buddy had this on his softail. It is LOUD! He mounted it where the stock horn went without the cowbell. He relocated his coil so he took it off, but this thing would scare people walking down the street.

I just bought the same horn and haven't had a chance to get into the garage to figure how to mount it on my ultra. I am interested in what folks have done as well.

Thanks,

Scott

Had one on my 05 classic. Took it apart and put the conpressor under the left side cover via zip ties, and the horn part in the cow bell. Connect the two with small ruber hose, works great. Haven't done my 10 yet but gonna.

2 years ago I put one on my (Gasp!) V-Star. It works great and it is loud. Mounting is a pain as I tried different locations. It is good quality , at least so far.

I just got the Kuryakyn deluxe wolo #7742. It's a chrome wolo and comes with a mounting adapter kit and wiring harness to mount to existing horn mount. Haven't mounted it yet...

I mounted one on the front frame tubes on my Sportster. It is really loud! Definitely gets the attention of the cagers. I haven't got one yet for the Ultra Classic, but it is in the works.

This is a pretty good thread, although the links and pictures are broken :-(

I'll have to look at mine closely to see how it comes apart.
