Se pro 103 performance upgrade kit

Can't see paying the money for the Harley kits. To many premier builders out there offer way more performance equally reliable for much less money. The dealer warranty "race" kits are a plus just don't take your bike to any other dealer or they may void your warranty in the Harley system.

The Stage 3 kit is Price: $1,249.95 and the Power Duals are about $500 and Rineharts are 600-700 WOW!!!!! for a grand total of about 2500 in parts alone. Once you figure in about 8 hours labor (I am guessing 8 hours as this is what I was charged 10 years ago to go from 88inches on a wide glide to a 95" kit and a stage 3 kit is essentially the same thing/tearing off the jugs and replacing pistons/springs/etc.). 8 hours labor at....lets say 100 dollars an hour and you are at 3300. I will assume they add in a few more hours to install your exhaust so lets make that an even 3500. Now you have dyno time to add on to that, and fluids and you will also probably need a different air cleaner. Depending on the details the dealer may not be too far off. I think if it were me and I wasn't too concerned about the warranty there would be other routes I would go outside of Harley Davidson. FUELMOTO!!!!

I would steer clear of the 110 upgrade personally. For the money to have your cases bored, you will not see that much gain out of 7 extra cubic inches. There are way more powerful 106" or 107" builds out there than any 110" builds I have seen on here. I have also read about people complaining of reliability issues with the 110" motors. GO AHEAD AND GET BUTTHURT CVO OWNERS!!!!

A buddy of mine has a 103, 2014 ultra classic with the 259 cams with some cleaning up and he has no problem staying with my CVO 110.
Truth being known I think it is stronger than my 110. It pulls better on the upper rpm
I see some very impressive numbers coming out of the 103. They give my ss106 a fit.
You got a warranty? When I had my cams done in my 07 ultra I only got a 90 day warranty on parts and labor. I used the SE255 and the upper rpms sucked but was good to 4,500 rpm.
The 255 is a great touring cam and good fuel mileage. But That was back then, there are better cams now.

I did the same thing that you did along with the cnc ported heads. 58 mm is to big I actually gained 1 HP by going back to the 50 mm. I also dumped the 255 cam because of the heating issue with the motor. Installed the T-Man 555 torqster cam have not been able to ride it other than bringing her home. Valves have a greater overlap along with they open higher. Really cold here in Oklahoma now.
