Default Help fixing windshield screw on 03 Electra glide

I had to loosen the windshield on my 03 Electra glide to install windshield bag and when I went to tighten up the three screws that hold on the windshield...one of the brass ( I think), plugs the has the treads where the screw tighten into, keeps comming out as I turn the screw. Therefore the outer faring doesn't pull down tight against the inner faring and snug the windshield up. Does any one know the part number for that plug insert that the screw goes into? Its would be an inner faring part. I hate talking to anyone at our local Harley dealership....they make you wait for ever to get service, don't seem to be very helpful, kind of talk down to you, and need to go to "How to make your customers feel confortable" school. I may have damaged that insert and it won't hold tight in the little plastic hole that it goes into, on the inner faring. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

On my 06 sg I had the same problem. I just bought some epoxy and glued the insert back in, and it was good to go.

I got those inserts for my '02... I didn't use them. I epoxied my old ones back in.

If you want the inserts I've got, I'll GIVE them to you. PM me your address and I'll drop them in the mail tomorrow.

JB Weld on the insert, wait 24 hours and won't ever slip again, did all three of mine.
