Default Is this the "ULTIMATE" shine for black bikes?

I bought some Turtle Wax "Black Box" wax about two months ago, and I just got around to waxing the bike last night.

It was a little messy, I wore latex gloves because of the black pigmented wax. It took a little time, it was a four step process.

This stuff is amazing, it looks like you can dip the black paint up with a spoon. It's very, very glossy and the paint looks deep and wet. It totally eliminated the minute scratches and swirls.

I don't know how long it will last, but for now I am very impressed.

If you have a black bike you owe it to yourself to try this stuff.

Yeah, no kidding. I've been wondering what would be a good wax for the bike. I'll have to give this stuff a go.

I bought it too. Messy and I found that the effect was not that great. I've been using high end stuff from Chemical Guys so the black wasn't dramatic. Swirls look a little better at first but from my experience I'd go back to the stuff from Chemical Guys. Check out their site. I got a "wax" and a sealer. Great products.

I used the Black Box stuff on my last bike and I liked it. I have about 1K worth of cleaning chit to choose from in my garage but I used that often.

I swear by Lemon Pledge now for waxing! Using it on everything. For scratches I use Harley scratch remover, then spray a little Pledge on it to finish it off with a deep shine fast and easy!

The new Pledge commercials now say all the uses for it....motorcycles is listed in the commercial.

I like Turtle Wax products. Turtle Wax Ice is really good.

What do you use on your fiberglass bags? I used Mother's wax, and now my bags have a hazy look to them. I didn't use a buffer, everything done by hand in the shade.

I actually used the Black Box about a month ago. It's a great product, but at first I wasn't impressed. I made the mistake of doing it in my garage, at night, by the glow of a 500 watt halogen light. Using that light was kind of like looking at your face in one of those magnifying mirrors. However, once it was in the sunlight you couldn't see a single swirl or scratch. I guess that's all you can ask for. Overall, good stuff.
