Handlebars on road king
What is the tallest you can go on road king handlebars without having to change cables?

i installed the HD Touring Heritage style bars and there was not much play left in the cables

Same here.....Put Heritage bars on my '03 R King and that's all the bar my cables could take.

I want new bars myself but want to stay with 1 1/4" to keep the wires inside. Not to hijack the thread but options, and again not wanting to change out cables. I need more pull back.

Dealership installed Heritage bars plus 4" pull back risers on my King with no extra cables needed.
