Default 2010 RKC - Hard bags, extensions, paint, and MORE CHROME! PICS!

Hard saddlebags with extensions, matching side covers, chrome front end, and Wild1 502 bars with lots of chrome. Very happy with the changes to my scoot.

Hope to get some better pics soon showing all the flake in the merlot and cherry red sunglo paint.

Big thanks to Jacobs Custom Cycles, Centerville, TN.

Any questions...ask away!

Nicely done! I like the extended bags and how the paint line flows down them.

Looks real good, Like the colors & how they flow. Some guys seem to go overboard with mods, but you got it dead on,IMO. I bet that really stands out when the sun hits it.

Thanks guys! Those nice comments make it all worth it. The idea with the paint was to make it look like it could have come from the factory that way. The side covers are basically identical to the paint scheme on the 2010 Ultra Limited Merlot/Cherry Red, and on the bags we stopped the paint on the side of the bags instead of carrying it onto the back corner. Decided that was the best option since the RKC rear fender is two-toned instead of solid merlot like the Ultra Limited.

I'm thrilled with the 12.5" WO502 bars. They are perfect for me and for the bike I think. Don't know how I survived 8500 miles with the stock handlebars.

Just for comparison, here's a shot of the bike just a few days after I bought it back in May.

Very nice. Huge difference. Never been a big fan the stretched bags...but they look perfect on your ride.

Hey q-biscuit... the scooter looks great! I'm really digging those bars. I have Heritage-style on my '10, but can see going to the WO 502s when I change.

I see you also run a solo seat... why keep the passenger footboards?

The solo seat was really just for looks today. My wife rides with me a lot so we usually have a Sundowner on there. I was just cruising around by myself today getting used to the bike again, but after about 3 hours my tailbone was begging for mercy with that Brawler on there.

She did give me the evil eye when I pulled out that solo seat this morning. Haha...told her to keep quiet or I would take her foot boards off too!
