The 12 has the old forks, the 17 has the new forks - The axle diameter and wheel bearing diameter is different. I had to swap bearings on my newer Front wheel (with ABS) to make it work with my old axle and fork.

Wrong wrong wrong. All touring bikes have been 25mm bearings since 08 when the ABS option was introduced.

That wheel will go straight on your bike with no problem. Your original rotors won't work, but that should be painfully obvious.

I have a 2012 street glide with an enforcer wheel. It will fit without issue. 89FLHT has no idea what he is talking about. The axle is the same size, 25mm, and you need enforcer rotors as caulk04 has stated.

It fit without any issues on my 2012 Ultra Limited.
+1 on the rotors. I thought I got a great deal until I had to buy new rotors. $250 for the wheel and tire shipped and another $150 for rotors on EBAY.
