Default ABS Problem?

I have an 09 street glide with ABS. I changed the front wheel yesterday. Pushed the pads back when I removed them from rotors. Now when riding first pull on the front brake have almost nothing, second pull have regular brake? If setting still first pull have good brakes? Is there something I did wrong? Any suggestions as to how to fix without taking to dealer? Going to get new pads for front & rear Tuesday.
Has anyone used pads from Sixity Performance Parts, they have Ceramic, Sintered, or Organic Brake Pads?

I'd recommend bleeding the brakes first.

1. when pushing the pads/ pistons into the bore, you can push contaminated brake fluid back into the system. It is easy to crack the bleeder, THEN push the pads in- closing the bleeder as the pads get all the way in- this'll expel the worst of the brake fluid.

2. ceramic are hardest, last longest, most likely to squeal and squeak.
organic are soft, short service life, most crud on wheels, less likely to squeak.
sintered are metallic and somewhere in the middle.

I use ceramics for service life and good braking, and sometimes have to do the job a second or 3rd time to get rid of a squeal...chamfering the edges and using an anti squeal on the back of the pads, new clips and cleaning/ lubing the pins are all part of the fix.

From your work yesterday, the pads were not dislodged and are still clipped in place securely? any grease/ fluid contamination? Clean rotors with brake cleaner.
It's normal to get a couple of soft pulls top get the pads reset...

your new wheel has the bearings for ABS brakes?

I,m no expert on ABS but I know there is a computer involved. So, it may need to be reset.

Pull the maxi fuse and let it set for 15 min and then put the fuse back in a give it a try.

Thanks guys
The pads were not dislodged and are still clipped in place securely, Yes
I will try cleaning rotors with brake cleaner. No grease got onto anything but axle. After I put it back in cleaned hands & used different rags. Pumped front brake slowly a couple of times got good brake. Checked it again before taking it for a short ride around neighnorhood worked on first pull. Then got out of drivway pulled in brake & got very little brake hit it a second time works like it should? Anytime I am moving it has little on first pull then second good? If stopped works on all pulls the same? Going out now to pull fuse?

I am going to suspect that you bent a brake rotor during your wheel change.

Check the master cylinder. Could be you need to add a little fluid and bleed again.

AmI understanding this correctly, U bleed the brakes and it was okay before you rode, First time you went to use the brakes there was almost no braking power at full squeeze, Then you pulled the brake lever in a second time and had Normal full braking power?

Agreed, key question - did you bleed or simply push the pistons back?
