Default Ez-Up Center Stand installation

I just purchased a Ez-Up center stand and was going to have my dealer install it since my bike is going in for service this Friday. They quoted me 1.5 hours for the install. Am i missing something here or is 1.5 hours to high? From the looks of the stand i wouldnt think it would take 30 min's to do.

Thanks in advance.

From what I have read about it the install seems pretty simple. Do it yourself and spend the 'HD' and change on something else.

I went to a motorcycle show and a guy was selling them and showed a video with the install. It was very easy to do, slide it on and tighten two bolts.

very easy to install. i did it myself. no lift, jacks, etc. just laid on the floor and did it. instructions are easy to understand.

This is a 10 minute job with most of that time being used to select the wrench and lay some padding on the floor before installing the stand. The dealer mustn't have any experience with the EZ-Up or they are just gouging you.

If it's for the new touring frame, it's one bolt. It's literally a 60 second job.

Save the $$$ and do it yourself. Installed one on my '08 and '09 bikes. 15 minutes max.

Seriously? 1.5 hours? It took longer to get it out of the box than to install it.
Pre 2009 it's two bolts, after that, one bolt. You do the math.
It's so simple my wife could do it. Wait, no, she couldn't get it out of the box. Anyone else could do it even if they never used a wrench before.
As long as you're able to lie on the ground and then get up again I suggest you do it and then be very careful spending money at that dealer.

Just picked up one for the GF's bike. I think I'm going to show her how to install it, just so she can brag to her friends that has can worked on her bike. I am betting it will take us longer to unpack the stand and get the (1) wrench required to put it on, than it does to actually install it.
