Big brown truck is showing up tomorrow with S&S Power Dual head pipe, Performance Machine Super Gas air cleaner and a FP3. I already have MGS Custom Bike 4'' slip ons. Be interesting to see results. I feel confident.

 

I have the S&S Power Tune Duals with the V&H 4"slash ovals and the FP3. Great setup, can hear my tunes great going down the road, and I was so surprised how well the bike is running! I don't like the crossover look with the V&H power duals. You get great torque with the S&S or any of the fuelmoto 2-1-2 pipes too. As good as the V&H. It came down to looks for me and I didn't want to stare at the x crossover thing. Either way you go, you will fall in love with your bike all over again!

 

Have the air cleaner installed and stock exhaust pulled off. S&S pipes laid out ready to go on. I see the S&S send their own hardware. That's a new one for me.

It's A forum to discuss issues and share information. When a thread starts and ends is not important. The fact that it's still a discussion after four years means someone wanted some information on the subject. Why bash that? Nothing better to do than point out the age of a thread? Sorry but I like when old threads come back around. Can be some good information in some.

 

I'm merely pointing out the OP likely bought pipes long ago.

I have this Header on my bike and it didn't need any spacers. Great pipe! Love the sound and performance.
