The 120R is an EXPENSIVE upgrade, but I would imagine a vast jump in performance. I just don't have that kind of money to throw around... so I would just try to upgrade my 103 to a 110, and spend the rest of my cash on other upgrades on the bike. Shotgun shock, wheels, etc... I have heard guys spending close to $10k on that motor setup... OUCH! Best of luck, and let us know what you decide!

I sold my stock 0 mile 96 (actually my dealer gave me a credit for it and they sold it on ebay). I wanted to reduce my total cost vs keeping the 96 for when I sell the bike. When that time comes, I'll take the motor out of the new bike, slap it in the old bike and have the 120 freshend up.
As far as someone said about the 120 being an EXPENSIVE up grade, horsepower aint cheap. Its all a matter of how fa$$$$t do you want to go. For the money, the 120 is the best $$$ per horsepower available. I had mine installed and tuned for less than way less than 5k cash and my stock 96.
Once you do anything to your motor that requires a custom tune (not a download), your bike is no longer street legal so the worries about not being "street legal" are worthless. Harley has to give it that designation if it does not meet epa standards.
