Default Zumo 665 which amp

I just got a Zumo 665 and when I play the xm radio it's not load enough at highway speeds. I have a 550 and had no problem. Well my question is which is the cheapest plug and play amp to boost my volume. I already have j&m speakers

Is there a volume control in the Zumo to adjust the level on the GPS and XM? My 550 has it

I found volume control in two places in the 665 but I still have to put radio up to full volume and normally half is good enough.

JPALM:
Looks like that could be a good solution for cleaning up and boosting the audio, but in looking at the pic it seems the plug for the helmut headset is a different type??

You might want to look on www.zumoforums.com. There might be a solution for you there.

Good luck.

Boostaroo works - back in the day when I had just a windshield setup and there wern't many options, I coupled an earlier model Boostaroo with the old Cyclesounds speakers and ran the tunes from a MP3 palyer. Without the Boosteroo, you couldn't hear squat and it was not any kind of quality sound - doubled sound an quality with Boostaroo - downside is it's battery driven (or was - looks like they fixed that)

In the grand scheme of things, it's cheap and they frequently run programs like buy a Boosteroo and they will send one to a serviceman stationed somewhere

Just my experience - was around 2007 maybe?!?
