Default Corbin seat backrest

Has anyone tried the Harrison aftermarket backrest for Corbin seats? They look to be adjustable, and available in 2 sizes.

If you tried one, how is the quality, and comfort. If you have pics of one on your ride, I'd like to see it.

Thanks

OK, Doesn't look like such a great review.

Even used the Corbin branded backrests are expensive, IMO. So before I shell out the cash, are they worth it? Are they comfortable? Do they push you uncomfortably forward like the Harrison's (the above link).

I had a drivers backrest on my last ride and loved it, that was one of the reasons I chose a Corbin, the ease of adding an adjustable riders backrest.

I have one and like it, the only thing I don't like it how it needs to be adjusted as you need to use an allen wrench which makes it alot of trial and error. I like the ability to be able to move it a passenger backrest at will, when you use the adjustment screw at the lower pivot will lock the back rest in. Just wish they had a more of a "on the fly" adjustment like the HD one.

I had considered a backrest for my Corbin Classic solo until I had a chance to ride a few miles with the Corbin seat.

I will not be spending any money on a ridiculously price backrest after buying a ridiculously uncomfortable seat.

I have a new Corbin classic solo seat w/backrest.Yes it's ridiculouly expensive but I find it to be very comfortable and suits my riding needs.I also agree w/what The Don81 stated. But like I already stated it's real comfortable and looks great. When I first paid for the unit I was thinking "Am I nuts",but when it came in the mail and I mounted it on my ride,I forgot all about what I paid for it and after riding around on it never thought about the price again. The comfort and quality will remain long after the price is forgoten.Just my two cents or should I say $600. (that's what I think i paid for seat/backrest/v-rail, through Jenny from Tri county HD)

I have the Corbin Classic solo with the Corbin backrest and couldn't be happier. It sure doesn't "push you forward" but that may be a function of where and how I sit on the bike. I'm not sure what the OP expects to pay for a rider backrest; they're all pricey for what they (Corbin, Mustang, HD, etc.) are.

If you want a deal, be patient, and/or consider buying a used seat with backrest then keep the backrest and sell the seat.

If the "Harrison" is the one sold on ebay for $99, check the feedback there for HD owners' comments.

Good luck with your research.

Without question, Corbins are worth the money. My DualTour and backrest are the best money I've spent on my bike, period.

I have had the same experience on 2 different bikes.
