Default New Merlot Inner Fairing 2011 SG **Pics**

I installed my painted inner fairing this weekend and thought I would share a few pics. I purchased the color matched fairing from Harley during a 20% sale, it cost me about $420. The job is very simple with no surprises and takes only a couple hours.

I also drilled the inner fairing so I could run the front brake line through the fairing to match the way the clutch cable runs through the fairing. I bought an extra fairing grommet that's used for clutch. I think it looks much better with the Magnum cables running through the fairing rather than along the bar.

Looks great; nice job on the installation; thanks for the pics.

Too bad HD doesn't paint the small black plastic bezel around the turn signal/idiot lights with their color-matched inner fairing/cap.

Again, thanks for the pics, and congrats on the installation.

Very nice!

A painted inner fairing IMHO is one of the most dramatic changes you can make on a batwing and really packs a punch for a relatively low price.
