Default Looking for a tall SG Windshield

Anyone running a tall shield that they look through on their street glide? I'm kind of trying to mimic the wind protection I had on my road king.

Just get a standard windshield as found on the rest of the Electra Glide lineup!

Long Ride Shields, you can't beat em for the price and quality. Get the Ultra.

I use several windshields, If I want big time protection I run a 14" clarkscustomflhwindshields.com clear and look through it. It's an extra wide windshield.

Thumbs up Freedom Shields

Ok you have a FLHX so I would think you want to keep it semi good looking and want as much wind protection you can get. I tried a 6 1/2" HD and a 12" HD both were crap as far as buffeting. Tried the 7" Freedom Shield, looks very good and has very good wind protection, better than the 12" HD.

Yep. I agree. I have several in different heights for different occasions. I find the 10" half moon in light smoke plenty tall for adverse conditions and you can still see through it at night. I rode from Tulsa to Arkansas in a moderate to heavy rainfall and did not get wet except when I stopped at lights. You can hear your music better too cuz the shield is wider than stock. Customer service is outstanding as well. Very nice people out there in Kentucky.
